Hello lovely Readers
As promised in the last blogpost, today is a very special day for me as my hobby, my baby, my blog, is turning 1! Following now, a few words about this first year and some pictures from a very small and cozy gathering at my place.
This year has been a whirlwind of emotions for me, it has given me so much joy to let my creativity flow and create beautiful pictures day by day. This year has been full of mesmerizing moments and encounters and I feel like it has brought me so much in terms of personal growth and much more.
Now I know I’m not the typical exemplary blogger as I don’t post as much as I should but that doesn’t mean that I’m not as passionate and driven as others. Much much work comes into such a Blog, not to mention sweat, tears, etc. haha just kidding!
As you already know I’ve been thinking about doing a blog for a few years now but it was my time in Los Angeles that inspired me to take action. Probably because I’ve met so many creative people there who don’t just sit around and wait for something to happen, they just do it. So I wanna thank Los Angeles and the people I’ve met and all the other cities I’ve been lucky enough to visit on my travels so far. Traveling is one of the most important things to me and I am very grateful that I have the possibility to travel as much as I do. I don’t take it for granted, especially not with everything that is going on in the world right now. So if you allow me to give you one advise it’s, travel as much as you can. Visit different cultures, try different food, get lost somewhere, meet new people, party hard, and much more. These are the memories you will hold onto for the rest of your life. The best and funniest story you will tell and you as a person will grow most from these experiences.
Of course there are also my friends and family to thank for your constant support. This sounds very cliche but I’m such a lucky girl to have you. Now I don’t know why you would want to be friends with me but hahaha just kidding, or not 😉 Anyway I’m not writing down all your names but you know who you are. And then there is my boyfriend, also no idea how he manages to share a tiny tiny apartment with me but he does a great job! Thanks for your humor, love, steadiness, understanding and your friendship. You guys rock!
Also I wanted to give a massive shout out to Sina Lou! She’s my partner in crime and she doesn’t get nearly enough credit for her outstanding talent. That women has definitely an eye for the right angle haha! But seriously she’s a true inspiration for me and as I’m sure for all the people around her. She has become a very good friend of mine and I wouldn’t want to miss her for the world. Thank you.
Last but not least a special thank you to Silvia who created the breathtaking birthday cake for the Rosegold Diaries first birthday! Did you see the cake? Like can you?? She’s a true artist who brings so much joy into every family event we have. And she’s going to be family after my cousin marries her son this summer in Italy. Like I said, I’m surrounded by creative and inspiring people! Go check out her other amazing creations on: www.latuotorta.ch
My blog might not be as successful as others, but it’s a sweet and loving space with a high quality content and at the moment that is good enough for me. Hopefully the future will bring many more blogposts, collaborations, visitors, readers etc.
Now in honour of this amazing first year I wanted to show you a few of my favourite pictures so far on the blog! I raise my glass to these pictures and to many more to come!
Yours faithfully,
Clarissa <3
